Eva Liu-Hogan | Principal Architect

With 14 years of professional experience, Eva drives the design vision of the firm. A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, her design sensibility was shaped by a diverse, global background in architecture, urban planning, and sustainable design, which includes time studying in Denmark and working in both the U.S. and China.
Before bringing her practice to North Carolina, Eva served as a Project Architect, Interior Designer and Job Captain for top-tier award-winning Los Angeles firms. She has led complex, multi-phase projects in exclusive neighborhoods like Beverly Hills, Montecito, Malibu, and Hancock Park. Deeply experienced in navigating the nuanced regulatory requirements of historic and coastal zones, Eva knows how to guide a project smoothly from the first schematic sketch through construction close-out.
Michael Hogan | Principal Builder
Licensed General Contractor in NC & CA
A great custom home starts long before the foundation is poured—it starts with the land. Michael brings a rare, highly technical background to the construction process, drawing on 20 years of experience as a municipal land surveyor for Orange and Los Angeles Counties. His deep understanding of topography, lot lines, and site preparation is an invaluable asset for clients looking to build from the ground up or navigate complex lot developments.
In addition to his decades of site experience, Michael is a former luxury realtor who represented buyers and sellers in multi-million dollar transactions on the Sunset Strip. This dual perspective means Michael doesn’t just know the mechanics of building a home; he understands exactly how quality construction and thoughtful development make a luxury estate hold its value in a highly competitive market.
